Changing my BMW Z4 3.0si for???

Out of that list I'd go for the 370z GT or the Cayman S. Both slightly quicker than the BMW and more special to look at. I literally can't go to the petrol station without someone commenting on how nice my 370z is. There aren't many around mostly due to the fact that it's a big thirsty engine with £400+ road tax a year. Last of a dying breed. How many other naturally aspirated 6 cylinder engines with 328 bhp, LSD, bespoke styling, RWD cars with jap reliability can you buy for £27k new.
Interior is streets ahead of its predecessor (350z).

Caymans are an itch I may likely scratch in the future. It's probably the only Porsche that actually appeals to me for some reason.

I would imagine 99% on here will tell you to go for the Cayman S (would have to be the S too), and I'm not sure I would disagree, but I think the 370z is a damn good shout, will keep change in your pocket, looks more eye catching because ultimately Porsches realistically are a very common site and it's been reliable (had mine over 3 years now).

I personally think the Z4 is a stunning car, the E89 is a really great looker IMHO.

I think it looks nicer than both the Cayman and the Nissan. Dynamically the Cayman should be a lot sharper, but personally I'd go for the Zed for the fact it is a convertible and I do have a soft spot for beemers. Depends what you want really. I can't speak for the Nissan as I haven't even sat in one, but they don't do much for me.

Each to their own, though.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I'm leaning towards the 370z. Although more expensive on fuel and road tax, all of that and much more is recouped with the low purchase price and running costs compared to the Cayman S.
Just a note regarding the performance of the Z4 35is, it's actually quicker than the 370z, it's 0-60 time is 4.8 secs, compared to the 5.2 secs from the 370z.

Depends what you read. There are 0-60 4.8s for the Nissan.
I know it's neck and neck between the 370z and the z4m and have first hand experience with comparison with the latter versions of the z3m.
It would seem strange that the non M z4 was quicker than the M version

It seems it's fractionally quicker in a straight line but loses out slightly on track to the 370z from the lap times provided.
Very similar then. I didn't realise that!

Why didn't they market it as an M then? Is it more focused on luxury?

My dad's missus has a Z4MC in Sapphire Black, with a black and yellow interior. Superb car.

Kinda feels a lot like a TVR Tuscan, if TVR had the money to screw something together properly. (I love the Tuscan, but you would never really worry about the BMW getting you anywhere)
