Bloody flat battery again, 3rd this year

ok so it seem i have developed a bad habit. I put my interior light on to faff about with something or other, and forget to turn it off. I have now walked out to my 3rd flat battery this year. You walk up to the car and you dont get that little alarm peep when you press the fobb....You know you have done it again. If im not careful i will damage the battery, im i right in thinking that ?

Yes, generally speaking a full charge cycle isn't good for your typical lead acid. Not a complete certainty, but worth remembering.

If you are prone to that, consider replacing the bulb with an LED one, lower consumption. Practically all filament bulbs are replaceable by LEDs, just find out what type your bulb is and search Ebay.
