What have you bought based on a PHers recommendation?

...I was just reading through another tyre topic and I'd given my two cents and recommended a particular brand and model based on personal experience, as I have done on a couple of similar posts.

It got me wondering whether anyone had actually gone out and bought the tyres based on my recommendation..

What purchases have you made based on PHers opinions? whether it was vehicle related or not... and were you happy with the purchase?

I bought one of these as I needed a reasonably cheap and comfortable car for motorway use.

I'm glad I took their advice as the 5 cylinder diesel is excellent, as are the seats and stereo so it does the job very well. I'd never have thought of a Volvo if it wasn't for the recommendations from people on this forum.

Based on conversations here on ph I've ended testing up purchasing a BMW 5 series and a mk1 mx5.

Also falken 452 tyres.
