my car has developed a problem today, so i need to ask the knowledgable PH members for help.

a few days ago, everything was fine, was going down the motorway with no problems whatsoever.

now today, i go down the motorway, and i get a steering wheel wobble at 50/60+ and braking from around that speed i get a wobble from the brake peddle aswell.

i think something might have been done to my car, as i have has motorbikes targeted by unknowns before, basically fking them up by nackering the swing arm and fking with other bits on my bikes, and have had a few mystery dents and scratches appear on my car aswell now. but i digress.

what could cause such symptoms? bent wishbone? tracking well out of wack? what, i don't know, but i will be checking tomoro for any excessive play from the bearings and seeing if anything has been bent in the suspension like a wishbone or anything else,.

what would your first port of call to be and what would you do to find out whats wrong.

I had a Scirocco years ago with the same issue just after buying it, it turns out it had lost the balance weights off the wheels. Probably the cheapest option to look at first

Most likely that you've lost a balance weight off a wheel. It's quite common.
