Any good?

Is it too much for when you are just running about in car or doing motorway mileage? Do you remove for such drivng?

I have one I use for track days etc, but they seem to suggest that it can be used during motorway journeys to stop slouching . . . It's a good product (have a look on eBay they often crop up on there)

I use one in the Nissan and my brother uses one in his Elise. Good wee things.

Fitting can be a tad fiddly but once it's on properly, you're sorted just remember to adjust it if you put on a thick jumper/jacket, else you'll be a tad uncomfortable

Customer service is meant to be brilliant, too.

I have one, used it on my M5 and was not only good for fast road use but also on track. Get one.

They're ok and having one is better than not having one, but they are nowhere near as good as a harness and bucket seat if heading onto track.

It's just spirited road driving but have a day a Croft in a few weeks so thinking of purchasing.
Like the fact I can take it with me too as prob changing car soon.

It was only £40 or so when I bought one. It is nowhere near the price of bucket seats and a full 4 point harness.

Cheers. it's £45 now. Was a used on ebay but nearly £40 so I just went for new from Demon Tweeks ebay shop.#

Now to plan a run to test it out!

Arrived quickly from Demon Tweeks. Took a couple of attempts with the different screw sizes to fit but once it's on very easy to use.

Not had a proper driver out yet but take in a few roundabouts taking the Mrs to work. Really good, does what it's supposed to although my ever growing belly sits somewhat in the way!

I've previously driven using my body roll as a balance gauge, now I am properly held into the seat I can actually feel the cars balance.

Got mine for my birthday a good few years ago. Had a quick drive out in my Clio 182 and managed to get some rather nice lift off oversteer. I don't know if the CG Lock had anything to do with it but it definitely felt easier to control the car.

Had one for years now, currently resides in my MX5 which I use in conjunction with the reel lock to form a primitive harness for autotesting (I run in a standard class so no racing seats/harnesses are allowed.

Fantastic bit of kit but mine does seem to be getting a bit slack now.

Brilliant things, I forgot to remove mine when I sold my Integra 5 years ago, I was gutted when I realised. I've got harnesses now on the proper car but would still love one for normal driving in the dog wagon, they do force you to keep a good posture with your lower back against the seat without having to think about it.

used to have one, great things but just be careful, my belt started fraying with prolonged use and the MOT tester wasnt happy about it.
