Does anyone know of an insurance company that specializes in covering convicted drivers or name drivers?
I am going from a company car to my own private car. One of the named drivers is my son at 22 years of age. He has 2 x SP30's and an IN10 conviction, I have two SP30's.
I've tried all of the compare sights and got massive premiums back. A few claimed specialist in convicted drivers came back with even higher premiums.
Does anyone on here have any experience of brokers or companies that might quote reasonable prices for this cover.
The car is a 2005 Jaguar 'X' Type 2.0ltr Diesel Estate. We live in the North East of Scotland (DD10 post code).

Try a large excess and then get seperate excess insurance from another provider.

Yes I came across Sure Thing recently on moneysupermarket and they have insurance for convicted drivers. www.surething.co.uk
