PH puzzle

Friends bought a car this week and is refusing to tell me what it is but has given me some details.

3 door hatch back
Brand new (model is only a year old)
Limited edition (only 250 being made)
18 inch alloys (2K extra apparently)
1.4 engine
Presume £150/£200 a month pcp
Probably wont be French

I was thinking A1 or something like that but haven't found the limited edition, but they were planning on looking at Fiat 500's

Any ideas.......

Will update at the end of the week when I've seen it or if I get it out of them before then

My guess would be some sort of Fiat 500/Abarth.

The only 1.4 turbos that come to mind are the Fiat/Alfa MultiAir or the VW/SEAT/Skoda TSI.

Fabia VRS special edition, maybe rallying related.
One of the Abarth 500 Tributo, 595 or 695 editions.
Abarth Punto Scorpione.

I don't think any of them fit everything you've said though.
