McLaren at my sons school

My son came home today to show me what they had at his school. McLaren decided to come to his school and showcase their cars. No selling, just cars. Maserati, Bentley and Rolls Royce also came along, with the Rolls Royce Wraith, Bentley continental GT and Mulsanne, aswell as the Maserati Gran Cabrio and Ghibli. They also brought a 650S with them. He is very lucky to see them.
I'm glad they do it, will cast a good lasting impression on the future PH'ers.
As they grow up they will dream of mclaren's, with their speed, design and hertitage.
Most of the sprogs I see walking around are not interested in cars, and half the ones that are think that a standard small engined hatchback is a cool car.
When I was young I never wanted a Nova.. But I did want a Mclaren F1.

Well by that point I was a fair bit older, but certainly remember it. Even have a few old photo's somewhere! Was your son suitably impressed with all the metal?
The only car ever brought to my school was a crashed Fiesta for a "Driving Awareness Day" - the police brought it to show how quickly accidents happen and what had to be done to get out of it.
Quite informative but not the thing a 16 year old just waiting for his license wants to see!

There must be more to it then that... car manufactures don't just turn up to schools with cars and let the kids get in them and look around. They would be leaving in the back of a police vanjimmy156 said:

I think it was just an exhibition, two years ago one of the students father managed to get the BAC Mono in to school, I think. Pebbles167 said:
