Hi All,

Due to my annual mileage increasing from 4k miles a year to 15k miles a year I probably require a diesel or a reasonably economical petrol.

The problem is I am used to quickish cars. My most recent car was a Honda Accord Type R. Not the fastest car in the world, but fun, practical and rare.

I want to try and find a replacement which won't feel really slow in comparison. My budget is about £4k, I might go a little higher if needed.

So far I have been thinking about:

Gen 7 Honda Accord CDTI
Civic CDTI
Fabia VRS
BMW 320 or 330d?

Has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks
Mike

Passat 130. Comfy for long drives and 45mpg plus.

Its poor image make it a decent second-hand buy IMHO. Check the paint as it's not the Civic's strong point.
