How on earth can someone get away with claiming something so obviously not real as a genuine car?

I too am deeply perplexed by this listing and particularly by the astronomical bids being placed.

The listing doesn't claim its an original Turbo 2 but neither does it make clear that it is a Gordini with the engine swapped over and finished with a less than convincing bodykit.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Yes you are right. Couldn't make out the engine wedged in the back.

From the pictures in the listing there is a battery and fuel tank in the front; the rear has a longitudinal engine with turbo and driveshafts visible, so I'd say it is mid engined

Depends what you mean by genuine. Yes was originally a Gordini but wouldn't have been built as mid engine.
