I'm 15 years too young, and I say go for it! Take me out in the LC when you (eventually) buy it, when you've realised I told you the right thing to do.

I'm 35.

Do it. One day sometime in the future you WILL regret it if you don't. You only get one life.

there is no justifiable reason that anyone could present as fact that could dissuade me from buying one if I wanted/needed/had spare cash, so just do it.

If it's what's your heart is telling you, do it. But make sure you drive one if possible, just in case it doesn't live up to expectations. Might be hard though... Not exactly many main dealer with a demonstrator handy! wink

Financially it makes better sense than a new golf for Christ sake! It won't exactly depreciate much!

Eta: that's not really talking you out of it, is it? fk it, if you don't do it now you probably never will!

Balls.

is this my my missus hates this place? You're supposed to talk about spares availability, rust, age, and leccy gremlins.

useless, the lot of yer
I bought an 8.32. 9 sold in the UK, from a manufacturer no longer present here. I dream of LC like parts availability, back up and electrical stability.

And would not change a thing. Get it bought.

I'm 11 years too young, but if I was 34 or older I would tell you that you'll probably regret not buying one in the future and that they are devastatingly cool.

But I'm too young so I can't tell you that. Feel free to ignore it hehe

What does it do better than a similarly priced half the age E55 AMG?

I'm 40, and the LC was the ultimate fast saloon I had never heard of anything like it before, as a kid we all talked about it. I vaguely remember a story of someone saying they read that it had to be doing 90 to get into top gear (although I'm sure that's teenage exaggeration!)

Buy it so you can be hailed a hero by everyone else that wants one!
