Hello all,
This year me and some friends are planning a mini Euro trip sometime in July. We have a rough route we want to take but some advice on places to visit and things to do would be great.
In 2012 we did a Euro trip and have visited
Leon, St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Lavigno, Stelvio Pass, Fulda and finished off in Amsterdam.
This year we are looking to go straight over to Fulda in Germany to stay with a friend for a few nights. After this going down to North Italy/lake Garda area. Thats about as far as we got so really need some input here. However it has to include the Stelvio pass at some point.
Looking for somewhere were there is stuff to do not just sit around.
Cheers

We drove to Lake Como last year. Some very nice drives through the Alps, and Como itself is stunning.

We drove through Germany, Austria, past the lakes to Florence and Pisa, then on to Nice/Monaco and then on to Millau. It was amazing and my only regret is that we cannot do it again (would be better to go somewhere new).

There are some really nice places along the way but it's good to do your research and know where to go. We went through some tunnels that we 10km long and took some amazing photos.

Garmisch with a cable car up to the summit of Zurgspitz is well worth a drive to, expensive to use the cable car but the views are spectacular. Frieberg is a tremendous place to see with nice streets and cafes.Enjoy your holiday. I leave for my euro tour on the 17th of this month. I always make a bit of time to stop off at the ring on the return.
Are you travelling by ferry?

Thanks for all the replies so far, its good to get to know where people like to go and try to incorporate them into the holiday.
We are travelling by ferry yes from Dover to Calais. The cable car sounds pretty cool.
