So after the year long road works i drove it today. The surface is rubbish. It is patchy, all different types of tarmac.
Like fixes on top of fixes. In lane 3 there are multiple stretches where the left wheels are on a different surface to the right wheels.
Very poor work IMO.

It is however a great encouragement to stay in the left hand lane - a very smooth and quiet surface!

Potholes will be interesting come winter time then.

I'm so glad I don't have to go near that stretch of road on my commute. I resent doing it a few times a year to be honest.

Yep, I drove it at the weekend. Couldn't believe that after all that disruption they've left three lanes in a state that won't last a winter and it will be lane restrictions and roadworks all over again.

Haven't drove the M25 for ages. From what junction to what junction have they done?
