WTF? (ASDA Parking nonsense)

Wanted to applaud the RRS owner that had parked in the bay closest to the door.

Is this a new thing? I normally avoid ASDA like the plague but needed to get some cash out.

As a supermarket car park is private land, there is nothing they can do if you park in whichever bay you want. Your moral conscience stops you from parking in parent & child and disabled bays. There will be nothing to stop me parking my 911 there if those kind of spaces pop up in my locality.

If you are parking at ASDA you are doing it wrong. I get nervous leaving my car in my garage as we are only 5 miles from the closest ASDA. Who knows what ejits will be in the neighbourhood! They could could leave parking dents on the international space station for the lack of care and attention they pay when swinging their doors open.

Judging by the width of the bay, cars with a sensible tax band i.e. one to make baby polar bears cough, won't be able to be squeezed in there.

Surely the sensible thing to do would be to have special bays for cars with the highest emissions, and an express lane to get to them, so those cars spend less time driving around polluting...
