Parking Eye continue to lose every time at POPLA when confronted with the "genuine pre estimate of loss" argument - such that they now don't bother to submit any evidence and lose by default.

No but I'm being hassled by another parking company for parking in a car park outside a shop I used. I've since found out parking is only free for 10 mins and I got busted for staying 13mins. The car park is actually for the shop customers to use!

You'll get:
- the original invoice
- a reminder with an increase in the invoice
- another reminder before legal action
- unstamped court papers with a massive increase in the invoice and a threat to send them off to the court by a certain date. But they’ll accept the original invoice value because they're a nice bunch.
- sit tight.
- that should be it.

They took me to court.

I ended up settling with them for £50 in the end just because I couldn't arsed with the hassle of preparing defence statements and chasing paperwork etc.
