V5

Anyone know about V5. Looking at a motorbike, BSA C15 1960 but it has no V5. I've been living abroad for 15years and am not up to scratch on these things now. Any advice?

The question is why doesn't it have a V5?

If it's due to a private plate transfer, wait until this has been done.

If the owner has lost/dog ate it/other, then it's cheap and easy to apply for a new one from DVLA. Wait until this has been done.
