Hypothetical crash option for survival

Hypothetically what is the best option to give you greatest chance of survival -
You're doing 100mph in lane 2 on a dual carriageway and after the brow of a hill you see both lanes are gridlocked stopped with traffic (and you can't stop in time)
Do you go directly into the rear of the car in front.
Do you go down the middle of the cars in lanes 1 and 2 therefore hitting two cars.
Do you go into the side of the car in lane 2 and the central barrier.
Or something else?

Handbrake turn hard, thus rolling the car on it's side.
It would roll lots of times heading towards the cars, but will slow it down massively, and only damaged the back two cars, hopefully not hurting as many people.

On a serious note, I'd put it in to the Armco or if there was an upward sloped embankment I'd go up there.

By far your best bet in that situation is to go straight down the middle. If you do this, the cars you hit will be to either side of you, but all of your energy is in a different direction, forwards. The force components involved in directly attacking your crash structure will be much smaller, and you will be more capable of spreading the energy punting each car you get to slightly off to the side than you would ramming one straight into another. Apart from being dramatically more likely to survive yourself, you're also making sure you shouldn't kill anyone else either.
Hell, on some roads and with drivers keeping apart to let bikers through, you might even find you fit..

Going the way of the Armco might be better if that's an option, but I don't really like the thought of hitting it at huge speed and catapulting myself onto the other carriageway. Less predictable.

As has been said though, for the car you hit it isn't pleasant, especially if its a 7-seater with all seats in use!!!
