porsche hybrid influx
Discussion
According to this article , porsche plans to release a 911 turbo and panemera with over 700 horsepower in 2017. I can't see it myself , porsche normally spoon feed power upgrades over a long stretch. Do you think there is any truth in this. If so , where does this leave their mid engined super car we all know they have planned.

It would be better if they and all other car companies concentrated on the tried and tested and hence making their cars more reliable in the short and long term rather than offer features and power that absolutely nobody on the road needs or can use.
Perhaps they should take heed of the current price trend for back to basics aircooled cars which often sell for more (sometimes a lot more) than the more recent metal.
