Amazingly, these are actually "patent drawings". Surely that patent has already been applied in every other region of the entire world by an entirely different manufacturer. .

Understatement of the century! Some details have been deliberately altered (the trim on the wing not extending to the door, for example), but then other things have been copied verbatim - the door mirrors are a facsimile.
What with the JLR joint venture thingy over there taking shape will this mean that the Chinese g'ment actually do something about things this time as this will be encroaching on a Chinese company as well?
