M5 diff seals- leaking again

I had all the diff seals replaced on the car in December and now oil has appeared on the driveway again. It seems to have been there a while (which I had thought was excess wax I had used on the wheel arches that had dripped) but my mate only pointed it out to me tonight when he came up my drive and the underside is indeed covered in oil.

I supplied all the parts from BMW (repairs carried out at an independent garage) but where do I stand with regards to sorting/paying for this? Is it most likely poor replacement of the seals causing this- especially given the very short time frame, or can these parts really be so dodgy?

Doesn't help but this is a problem you face when you supply your own parts for a garage to use. It will be difficult to apportion blame between the parts or the fitting.

If the garage had supplied the parts and the labour, you'd have an easier task in showing the repair wasn't up to scratch.

Joy. Well I could do without oil on my drive, one way or another.

i was under the assumption that genuine BMW parts come with a warranty. knowing them, this may only apply if the work was carried out by a BMW approved garage. worth checking though.

Turned out they didn't fit one of the seals correctly, sorted with no hassle.
