Observation test, will she notice the fault light....

I have been out in the family hack today and noticed the ABS light has come on. It needs a new sensor which will be sorted on friday. My Mrs has taken it out tonight, I am betting she doesnt notice the light. She loves cars and is a great driver but whenever I get in her car there always seems to be some warning light or other going , or shes got a blown bulb or 2. ANd when I mention it she always says 'Really ? Well it wasnt there before you drove it'
She never notices any fault lights. I think it should be mandatory that all cars have a big buzzer that goes off when a fault light comes on .

Penny again.The only lights that come on "coincidently" when I get in the family car are fuel and washer fluid ones, funnily enough, when I mention it I get" it must have just come then"
More worrying though is the on board mpg computer, she averages about 27, when I get to drive it or we have a family day out it shoots up to 37.

Perhaps I should have expanded on my post - the code is showing the sensor seems to be out of threshold but the ABS is still working (I tested it). The sensor hasnt failed but its indicating it needs to be changed, probably due to the age of the car I guess its showing higher or lower resistance than expected but I am sure there is a pretty good margin of safety in there.Unroadworthy - oh no that means I'd best take the TVR off the road and never drive it again.... how did we ever manage without ABS. My Mrs actually cadence brakes very well having driven some hot cars without ABS for many years , she probably wouldnt even notice missing ABS even if she had to anchor up. But I did actually test it when the light came on and the ABS still works. I didnt put that in my original post as it was a bit tongue in cheek.....I forgot this is PH and of course someone would jump on the 'she will die in flames' bandwagon
