Those drives where it all goes just right
Discussion
Had a late dash out last night and I ended up on a 14 mile TVR run at about 23.00.
Clear roads, warmish night, good mood. The car was perfect with lovely pops on full rev gearchanges, lots of perfect overtaking opportunities, blipping on downshifts into roundabouts then into quiet city streets for some backstreet ducking and diving with the engine noise bouncing off buildings.
Wasn't an epic driving route, nor was it that long a journey but it was one of those times when I thought just how much I love my car.
Isn't it great when that happens?

I love those sorts of drives.
I have to use my car every day, and spend 90% of my time in it doing nothing but trundling along the motorway in the morning or grating my teeth behind some massive lorry negotiating the town centre on it's way to the aforementioned motorway at 15MPH. Times like this make me wonder why I bothered buying a nice car and it actually starts to annoy me.
Then I take it for an early morning drive on the weekend and remember why
