Thinking about joining the Atom Cup Race Series

Anyone have any experience?
I did a test day with them last weekend and all I can say is WOW. Driven a road car but the race car is something else. I was ok on the pace but worry about actual racing, never done any. The Atom cup website says that its for all abilities.
Youtube shows some awesome footage and its in TV which is great!
