...how... snobby are they? Lamborghini Of London, Ferrari etc.

I presume they won't even let anyone in without an appointment, yes? I also presume they won't give anyone an appointment who doesn't have a six figure income (how they know these things, only Hell can tell...)?

I have wandered into the Ferrari and Lambo dealerships in South Ken a few times - wasn't looking at buying obviously but just for a look around.

Lambo less welcoming than Ferrari.

Both are friendly if you are honest, just say you want a look and they'll be cool if you are respectful of customers who may be present.

Lambo showroom is smaller so they allow non-customers in when space allows as long as no customers are in the middle of buying. Once again, just be honest and polite, in return they'll oblige as long as you are courteous.

This is encouraging. Still, I should presume actually wanting to sit in them will land me and my friend a hefty prison sentence?!

I daresay that the problem may lie elsewhere than with the "exotic dealerships". rolleyes

Not necessarily. As others have said, be polite, ask first, try not to chat up the receptionist. Dressing smart often helped.

The holy grail used to be the mclaren dealership in park lane. Often closed, but you could get in sometimes and, if you did chat up the receptionist she might let you sit in the F1.

I was allowed in the McLaren Park Lane Dealership to take photographs.
I were not allowed to touch the McLaren F1 though

You have to see if from thier side.

If your business exists to sell 200k-300k supercars and you have targets to meet having your showroom room of scruffs who have bugger all money and will never afford one isn't necessarily condusive to good business.

So be as smart and respectful as you should be.
