An s reg corsa with a 1.0litre engine in good condition and low mileage for year,like your 22,000 miles would never be worth 2k at this time.youd struggle to get more than 600 quid.A 98 Corsa 1.0 will be the 12V three cylinder engine not the 16V. My son had the same age and capacity Corsa for a while and it was OK but certainly nothing to get excited about. That had done 34,000 miles, was a two owner car and fetched 1,250 about five years ago.

Is this another one of those "my mechanic says" stories? Whos going to "do up" a one litre corsa?
If its as valuable as that, bung it on ebay with no reserve, you'll have people wanting to spend thousand's going mad on it.
