I liked the old things and rode in many of them in India. I hope they survive out there for a long time, but they days of ancient taxis are at an end in the major cities.....

Goodbye ,old fellow.

In the article, it says about the Peugeot advert of turning an 'amby' into a 306. Iirc it was into a 206. Journos really should do their research.

Thing is, the people that write this drivel are not Car People as such, there are just scriptwriters IMO.

A while back I had a dig at the Editor of AM Online as he did not know the difference between Dealer "Principle" & "Principal"

He fully admitted that the journos were not car people.

But surely they should be literate???

Back on topic (sort of) I remember when a master at school bought an Oxford brand new. Didn't turn many heads though....
