Don't think the XFR is available as an estate, you'd have to get the XFR-S which is an extra 20k on drivethedeal.fnarrrrrr..... in estate form that is bonkers-desirable as a do-it-all car.
Wonder what the monthly figures are on this, as I can't find them anywhere. Given a GFV of around 15k and a low deposit, it would work out around 600pm.
The XFR-S does drive rather differently to the R. I get mine in about 3 weeks now and am rather excited.
Fuel costs are pretty much normal for anything remotely petrol-headish at mid-20s MPG. It's a direct injection engine and an absolute gem. Of course if you're used to little 2.0 diesels it'll seem like a lot of money on fuel but even if you drive a 2.0 petrol Mondeo around it's not going to feel like that much of a sting in the wallet - and just look at what you get!

Wasn't aware they don't do this as an estate - hmmm, strange you can only get the super-silly-power version as a load lugger.

Doing the maths etc and thinking about what else this goes up against in the 46k mark - what would the new M5/RS6/E63 come out as (and would you need to spec a tonne of options as this one seems pretty stacked as it is?). just wondering if all the big super saloons have anything like these discounts.
And the fact its a 5.0 V8!!!

I'm not really aware of how quick saloon sales figures stack up against quick estates but I imagine there is some rationale for not offering the standard 510ps engine in the Sportbrake. The saloon has a big boot and folding seats anyway which is plenty big enough for the majority of people.
This XFR deal above represents great value IMHO. It's not a terrifying firebreathing monster that your wives wont drive. It's just a car and drives like an XF. It just has more power if you press the accelerator hard. It's perfectly capable of bimbling around town with your mother in law in the passenger seat though.

I can vouch for it's drive though. It's a great engine that really suits the current performance Jags, as does the latest 8 speed ZF gearboxes fitted.
