As the title says really.
If I want to sell a car without dealing with the private idiots, is WBAC the best option (price wise) or would you likely get better offers from dealers? If that latter are main dealers better or small independent ones?
If it has any bearing on the answer the car is a 2.5 year old Peugeot 5008

Get a quote off them and see which is best.

There are too many variables to give a straight answer.
When I sold my 135 I called several local bmw dealers who weren't interested, I put it on auto trader and it was bought by a BMW dealer from 100 miles away.

Sold a little Skoda runaround for my dad recently. wewantanycar offered and paid £1500 more than webuyanycar. There's a few of em out there so worth 10 mins extra on the net.

Ran 5 Skoda dealers and none of them returned my call.

I found that wewillbuyyourcar (NOT related to WBAC) offered more when I sold this way.

When I needed to sell a company vehicle last year, I got a much better offer through wewillbuyyourcar.com than WBAC. It wasn't worth selling to a dealer, and it gave me a quick way to a) move the vehicle and b) realise the cash from it quickly.

I've advertised a few cars on here and AT, a couple of times I've found private buyers but mainly sold to dealers, some offer stupid low bids but others can be very reasonable.

Surely anything is better than them. I was offered £25000 for my 2011 C63, Mercedes offered £36500. Guess where I sold it?

True- it's a mixed bag that one. I find that offers for unusual cars are very poor, but mainstream cars are pretty reasonable on the whole

They are just auction houses. WBAC is BCA and WWAC is Manheim. They just put them through the halls under CC TRADE at BCA, not sure what Manheim do with theirs.

You could always just enter it into the physical auction.
