Pay for one that covers you for log book loans, that is the biggie that can really catch you out these days.
By cover you I mean one that says if the car is found to have a log book loan they will cough up.

Log book loans don't have to register their interest in the car with anyone, but they can come for it if you buy a car that has had one taken out that morning. So, always do an hpi again just before you collect.

Better to just pay the £20 direct with hpi would you say?

Quidco give 20% cash back too.

Cant see anything on their site anymore about logbook loans.

I'm not sure, maybe they have stopped covering that as it is too easy for them to get their fingers burnt?
