I'm sure I saw this ad 6 months ago... Not surprised he is struggling to sell...

That interior looks like its a really bad replica of what a Ferrari interior should be. The prancing horse on the steering wheel isn't even on straight!

Yep, think so. It was being advertised for restoration but already looked like a 355.

I don't understand what it is?

Is it all genuine Ferrari? If so I would definitely be up for stripping the interior and turning it into a race car!

The 355 is a development of the 348 like the 430 is of the 360.

What you're looking at is a 348 with 355 body panels fitted, 360 wheels & a jazzed up interior.

I'm not convinced until I've seen the engine.

It's a Ferrari 348 turned into a F355 body wise. It's not an MR2.
It does look like the interior was redone by Stevie Wonder.

I agree that the red leather is a bit OTT apart from that it seems ok and it will probably be cheap for what it is because it's not an original car and may have been written off a long time ago. It looks good other than that though and a 355 chassis is the same as a 348 one I think.
The age he states as 1994/1998 so I guess it was bought in 1994 then crashed in 1998 and repaired then?
It sounds like he got suckered in and he thought he was buying an original F355 that was a bit tired for 27K? Now hes restored it so he can sell it?
Edited to add:
That exterior shot does look a bit like a replica which is weird.

Well it's definitely Ferrari... and appears to have been registered in 1990:

It's a Barry'd Ferrari 348.

His sign off 'Good Luck' says it all for me

I love 355s, but that would require many brave pills. The interior is horrific, and why spend £3k putting the wrong wheels on?!

Not to everyone's taste. Making it look like a 355 is bad enough as many an MR2 been done. You won't find an MR2 done like a 348! As for the interior...what was he thinking. He's spent a fortune and knocked thousands off its value. Aircon unit is missing too. The money spent would have been better getting the exterior back to original...2xbumpers 2xstrakes and a couple of lights.
