Saw this posted on facebook just now, it has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen:

I'm amazed that no one ran them over, or got out their car to confront them. There could have been emergency services further up trying to get through traffic.

Another example...... yesterday driving along I became aware of ambulance bearing down from behind, lights and sirens going. As road narrowed ahead at a railway bridge, I signalled L and swiftly pulled into side - Young lady driver behind came alongside, remonstrating madly.... I just pointed to the rear and she sheepishly moved her car in front of mine out of the way. Whatever happened to driver awareness? Dozey Cow!

I have no idea. They're in Croydon, full of Jeremy Kyle fodder. People are usually looking for any excuse to apply their anger (remember the riots). I'm really surprised no one accelerated towards them, let alone nudge them. I recall in Alan Sugars auto biography he was being driven into Tottenham football club during the time when things were going pear shaped for him there. A large group of people blocked his car but he told his chauffeur to just keep moving forwards slowly and they'll move out of the way. They did.
In this instance I would've done the same just edged forwards until they moved.
I do wonder however whether or not this was some sort of prank like Just For Laughs and was set up just so they could film it for Youtube. Still totally wrong in any case.
