Apple Iphone Diagnostics Code Reader

Was thinking a C110 Scanner for the BMW, but would be nice to have a generic to look at other cars too

actually there are many android versions as a friend has a cheaper bluetooth one from ebay i think with a known app already which does fault code reading, logging with dashboards etc.


but i know Apple items have been less options

The wifi OBD dongle I use to read and clear codes on my iPhone was an awful lot cheaper than that, if not so small and neat.

Just ordered one of there from amazon for £25, plenty of free apps to down load to link to car.

Thats a silly price. You can get readers for around £8 on eBay and they work perfectly.

Another vote for Torque Pro on Android here. £3 for the app and £7 for a cheapo bluetooth reader, job jobbed.

I can't find anything from when I ordered it, but it was just a generic Chinese thing. Looks similar to this one;

I think I paid about twenty or thirty quid, but there are loads of them for less than that, and most of them now look a bit tidier than mine:

and run it with OBD Fusion on a 3GS, it's worked an a SAAB, Merc, Skoda, VW and a Ford.
