V5 - anyone else been waiting a long time for theirs?

I bought my CGT from a main dealer in the middle of April - I still have not received the V5 - seven weeks later!!!
The delete assures me it was sent off the next day.

Is anyone else having a long wait???

V5 for my Clio never arrived, dealer assured me he sent off the form, I ended up sending my bit of the slip recorded delivery and then the V5 arrived a week later!

I am also awaiting another V5 for a car I bought 6 weeks ago!

Mine came back in just over three weeks.

I believe it says that you should call them if it takes longer than 4 weeks.

2 weeks max twice for me recently inc cherished plate change.
I did have a wait a couple of years ago where it was later found on the dealers desk after they told me it had been sent off, I wanted to hop in the tax but lost over 2 months of it when trading in the car and swapping plates.

Change of address on my old car took less than 2 weeks. New car V5 took a week!!

Yes 2 since early April no sign yet and dvla say not received. Seems a bit odd as posted on different days.

Applied for V5 end April, got letter last week saying to expect it this week. Most random.

Our friends in swansea were apparently taken by surprise when a lot of cars suddenly needed registering at around the time the new reg plates came in.

I can see how it might have snuck up on them since they're new to the whole car registering thing

1 month and 1 day for me.

There is a link on there website to email them if you haven't received it after expected (I read 4 weeks somewhere).

They responded to me by email within 48 hours telling me the date it was dispatched.
