BRG, Magnolia leather and walnut dash

When did that exactly come out of fashion?

We are talking non-metallic BRG, proper yellow magnolia and deeply burled walnut.

The current XK has gone silver/black perforated leather (ideally with my pet hate: red stitching) and "piano back" or "carbon" or "engine tuned plasticalloy" from the beginning. The current Conti GTs have gone the same way. DB9s and Vantages mostly have "sporty" colour schemes.

You wouldn't see it in a German car, therefore, no-one wants it.

It's a classic British look, though I must say my preference is for BRG with cream leather and a walnut or similar dash. Classic Jaguar scheme.
