Need a list of modern hot ( sub 10secs to 60) hatches that are band e (£130) or less to tax

10 seconds to 60mph is not even a warm hatch, certainly not a "performance car"

But compared to fuel costs and servicing/repairs tax band is an absolute irrelevant nothingness, unless of course its falls into the top £450 one.

Certainly not a reason to choose a car over £50 difference in ved a year.

yes If you want to run a car cheaply, depreciation should probably be your biggest concern; VED is amongst the smallest after fuel consumption, servicing costs and insurance.

Still, your best bet if you want a cheap-to-run modern hot (or at least warm) hatch is probably something like a Fabia VRS (the diesel one).

Absolutely, I'd add tyres as well as it is incredible how many new cars have 17,18 or 19 inch wheels which mean you can spend £400+ on tyres in a year.
