Car Rental for Euro-Road Trip?

I thought I'd ask here to see if someone has done this before?

Looking to rent a 911 / F-Type or similar for 8-10 days, unlimited mileage around Europe. (France, Germany, Italy on the cards)

Tried Avis and they are limited to 100 miles a day in Europe (but weirdly unlimited in the UK, so I could drive to Aberdeen and back all week long... They also charge a 35% excess for the European insurance (fair enough if that's what it takes) but still useless for my purposes. Actually the Porsche was 100 miles a day, full stop...

Are Hertz, and all the others going to be the same? Is this even possible?

Yes, specialist cars like this always have mileage limits when hired. Paying for extra insurance, ferry fees, and excess miles for driving across dull bits of North European plain isn't a good use of your money.
Get yourself to a major city (Munich perhaps), much closer to interesting roads, and book the rental from there.

Hertz Germany have some interesting cars, F Type/Merc SL or M5 as part of the Dream Collection, or it you don't need that, GT86 in the fun collection, and they seem to have a weekly mileage allowance of 1750km, which is pretty reasonable.
