The grille has also been replaced to a matt black example but I still have the original Chrome effect 1 that will be past to its new owner should they want to change it. To finish the car off it is fitted with BMW Autohaus Munchen Number Plate Surrounds. Overall a Stunning Example that cost in the region of £30k when new! I have given this German Built Hot Hatch a thorough test drive over the last month and have travelled around 300 miles overall and I cannot fault this BMW in any way, it starts, drives and stops as it should. It is Extremely Quick and Well Balanced. This car did a 50 mile trip up the motorway and performed effortlessly for me, it will overtake without issue and the power from the *261 BHP* unit is there when needed. No issues at all. On start up the engine gives a pleasant roar and sounds positive, it revs freely and is very eager to pull in every gear. The Steering and handling are perfect, you turn the wheel and it instantly responds there is no sign of abuse or neglect here. The brakes are sharp and brought me to a swift stop and in a straight line and the 6 speed manual gearbox is a dream, all gears are selected with ease and it is very smooth. The clutch is just below halfway biting where you want it to. To be honest when behind the wheel the only way of telling this cars mileage is by looking at the odometer (95k), it feels as tight as a drum and is a true testament to its Previous Keepers, plus let’s not forget it was made by the Germans. Overall this is a Superb Example of the ever so popular BMW 1 Series that comes in *261 BHP M-Sport* Form, it looks and drives Fantastic. You will not be disappointed. The BMW starts 1st time with no hesitation and no need to press the accelerator, on tick over it idles evenly and doesn’t jump around the rev range. There are no knocks or bangs or any other odd noises. The 6 Speed Manual Gearbox is silky smooth and tight, all gears are selected with ease, the transition between each is flawless. The clutch is nice and light biting where you want it to and is functioning as it should. The handbrake and brakes operate perfectly.
There is absolutely no juddering of the steering wheel, no pulling to the left or right and no untoward noises from the suspension. The Power Steering is light but positive at the same time and everything feels tight. The general feel of the car when driving is BRILLIANT, it really is Effortless and a Complete Joy to drive. In conclusion with age and miles being taken in to account you really couldn't wish for the car to perform any better, it is totally sure-footed on the road, tight going in to corners, well balanced on the straight and being the 261 BHP model it doesn't hold back when you put your foot down. This is a real drivers car. There are no warning lights present at all.
Interior
Inside the car is in IMMACULATE CONDITION relative to its age and mileage. I am pleased to tell you that there is NO SERIOUS SIGNS OF WEAR AT ALL, no pieces of trim hanging off, no broken bits of plastic, no holes in the dashboard and everything is where it should be. The Leather/Cloth Trim is very clean and tidy and, the only thing I want to point out is a slight break in the leather on the drivers seat edge inner, there is the odd age related mark and general wear around the edges but only what you would expect at 7 years old. The floor-carpet is also very clean and tidy throughout with no nasty stains, toffee marks or holes in the foot-wells and have been protected by the original 1 Series over-mats and the headlining, door-cards and dash area are all in-tact and pretty much spotless. EVERYTHING IS CLEAN and free from excessive signs of wear and tear.
The car is fitted with a SUPERB FACTORY *BMW* STEREO UNIT that features Radio/ CD PLAYER that sounds fantastic and loud. The boot is in very good order too and has seen no heavy use. Overall the interior of this car is exactly what you would expect from a VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER, German Built Hot Hatch with a FULL SERVICE HISTORY and only 2 PREVIOUS KEEPERS, for its age it is SIMPLY SUPERB.

A very close inspection will reveal only a few light marks from general wear and tear. I need to bring to your attention specifically 1 or 2 minor stone chips to the front end. That's it. All mentioned are general cosmetics that do not detract the overall clean, presentable lines of this BMW 130I M-SPORT. Having had a really good look around the vehicle I can assure you that there is NO MAJOR RUST showing at all and not a single bit of paint corrosion. The car is fitted with genuine 18" M-SPORT alloy wheels in EXCELLENT Condition wrapped in 4 EXCELLENT BRANDED TYRES with plenty of tread. This is a genuine vehicle. Obviously it is now 7 years old so you may find the odd age related blemish here and there and a pin dint from Tesco’s car-park but that is it, there are no eye-sores or anything that jumps out at you. I am very critical on all my cars as I like to be as honest as possible before viewings.
