Japanese Translation

I've had a letter for sometime from some friends of my wife's family in Japan. It's all in Japanese so we have no idea what it says !!

Could anyone translate it for me ?

Ahh.. Right... I was a bit slow on the uptake their. I take it then that your wife cant translate Japanese and you just wanted to take the .... ?

If you have a windows phone they can take a photo of the text and translate there and then.

Hahaha. I hope it does a better job than FB does when a Jap friend of mine posts in Japanese. Some of the translations are hilarious. None ever make any sense though

Thanks for the suggestions guys. If you saw the handwriting you would understand why the translation apps won't work !
