Where is the power measured from? Crank? Flywheel? Wheel?

Is power measured differently(from crank/flywheel/wheel) from cars in US made, EU made and Asia made?

And has there ever been a manufacture given out power measured at wheel?

At the crank/flywheel (with all ancillaries).

The US used to do it at the flywheel with no ancillaries (so the number was higher).

Germans and Japanese use PS, Aus uses kW and UK/USA uses BHP.

I don't know of one that quotes at the wheels, as it's so variable on tyres. Inflating your tyres will change the result.
