Value of a custom mini 1275 GT?

A lot of quality work has gone in there - no idea what its worth.

It's a V-reg, which makes it a '79 or '80. We'll assume that it's not a pre-'74 model that was re-registered.

Plates aside, it is very cool.

I'm not sure they did regular fronted 1275s, or are you saying all 1275s were clubman?

In which case, it would be carrying the appropriate suffix, which it isn't. There is no legal way to be displaying a V suffix on anything but reflective plates.

Not going to get anything like what you would had it been restored to how a proper 1275GT should look.

It's now just a personalised Mini that is only worth what a particular person will pay.

Modified a lot so will only appeal to a very certain person and de-seemed as well which a lot of people don't like

I would guess at around £3-4k depending on how quickly you needed to get it sold at the time.

It's really one of those ones where you have to find someone who it appeals to as it's so unique and then it's worth what they will pay for it. I'm surprised he has modified it to that extent if he only planned to sell it on as the value in 1275GTs has got to be in the originality now there are not too many left. It does look beautifully done.
