Recommend me a soft walled low profile tyre
Discussion
Eagle F1s are fairly soft and are a very good tyre in terms of grip, progressiveness, etc. They certainly helped on the wife's Octavia which runs a similar size.
Alternatively, Toyo T1-Rs are really (as in vomit inducingly, at lest on an Elise) soft.
If you want a big improvement though, changing the wheels to something smaller and lighter would be your best option.

Soft sidewalls with low profile tyres sounds like a good recipe for destroying your alloys to me. I would either put up with the ride or look at fitting smaller wheels myself.
It came with this size, I've no wish to buy more wheels and then have insurance niggles. A couple of companies I insure with load up the premium even if you go smaller! I like the suggestions so far though, thanks.HertsBiker said:

I refuse to drive about on compromised (too big + heavy) wheels any more.
The smaller tyres will be so much cheaper they'll probably counteract any insurance uplift anyway.
