Le Mans hit & run. Left with injuries - video request.

Mods, can we leave this in GG for a while as it could do with a wider audience.
A couple of years ago i went to Le mans for the first time, the man who organised it (who organises it every year for an increasingly large bunch) is a bloke called Chris, aside from a terrible colour combo on his MR2 V6 he is a great lad, top petrolhead (runs an RS6 even after researching the bork factor) and he loves Le Mans.
I didn't get to go this year and was mostly drunk and at BBQs in the UK where i had access to Eurosport and therefore i actually saw some of the race and i missed the drama as it unfolded live as this year he had an incident on Friday.
So, in the words of my friend Chris
This is one of the biggest petrolhead gatherings in the world and one of them was hit and left by someone with some severe injuries. Luckily he can probably still work whilst on wheels but it could have been much, much worse.
Any help would be appreciated.

The driver did not stop but has left me with a smashed foot, surgery to put it right, and the prospect of 2-3 months in a wheel chair. We need to to trace the driver urgently. If you were at Le Mans and filming on the Friday evening I would appreciate it if you would check your footage to see if you filmed this car. If so we will check to make sure that what was put forward by the witnesses matches with the footage. We have video of him hitting me and various spectators have put a registration forward but we could really do with a photo or video where his reg is visible. Had a bloke walk out and stand in front of my 458, put his hands on my bonnet, and insist he wasn't moving until i did a burn out. His mates were lobbing water bombs, beer etc into cars with windows down and convertibles with roof down. It could be the gtc driver thought this might be more of the same ..

Le Mans sounds more like Reading Festival than a prestigious motor race!!

Indeed. Whilst we don't know the circumstances of the above incident, there were people deliberately blocking the road and indeed sat in the gutter all day outside Houx, so I'm surprised more people weren't accidentally injured by drivers just making their lawful way back to their campsite.To the chap who thought it was amusing to pretend to hump my exhaust pipe, sorry I accidentally selected reverse instead of first and made you drop your drink. #TheyDon'tLikeItUp'em

Had the same as a passenger in a friend's 360. Had the same happened to me in my car, I would have been driving down that road at 10-15 mph and not stopping for anybody. No idea where this happened but I wouldn't be surprised if the Bentley driver felt pretty fking threatened omgus said:
