Thinking of getting shot of my 2005 Subaru Outback for one as it's getting rather long in the tooth.

Seen a 2010 C5 Tourer Auto Exclusive with all the toys apart from nav for around £8k and to be honest really like the look of it.

As of yet though, not ever sat in one before. Just wondered what the collective thought of the things?

Driven one with 40k that felt like 400k. Very saggy and horrible. £8k of your own money is too much for a big French car, unless it's a C6.

I rented one, thought it was called an 'estate' but what do I know?

It wasn't a great car in terms of NVH or driver involvement but it was packed with toys and driver aids. Wouldn't want to own one personally given the level of wear in the 10K km car I was in but obviously a private car has to be better.

C6 for me as well or nothing.

Should add: it was comfortable over long distances but suffered wind noise and didn't have that much room inside given the size.
