Strange places to dump stolen cars?

Reported as stolen and found dumped in canal at Elland Bridge, W Yorks.

Google maps shows low stone walls and video on paper website doesn't show any real panel damage, or any damage to surrounding stone walls and hedges.


I guess they drove along the towpath, squeezed under bridge, and dumped it when towpath blocked by sign.

Worst thing is that the emergency services had to send divers to check for bodied before recovery. Not exactly the best use of resources, but good practise.
