Mixing additives (Redex etc) with Premium Fuels (V-Power etc)0

Is this a silly idea?

Back story...
I have a mild stuttering in the car. I usually use VPower all the time, but was in the middle of the highlands, and had to use the local crap.

Thought I'd try some injector cleaner as a punt (know they have mixed results).

But is adding this on top of a premium fuel which already has some additives (VPower etc) a bad idea?

Can't see it doing any damage, does it only stutter when on the normal fuel though? If so it's more likely an octane problem.

Nah, stutters most of the time, if you give it just light throttle.

It is only a very mild thing tho, I'm maybe imagining it.

Just a very slight hesitation, that clears completely once you apply more throttle.

Don't waste your time/money. This is the motoring equivalent of withdrawal symptoms. If the stutter is down to a change of fuel just keep going and it'll pass.

PS. The local fuel is not crap - it just doesn't have the mix of unnecessary chems your car has become accustomed to.
