Question regarding DAB aerial

I posted this in the TVR forum, but not sure if any have done this.

I have a new touch screen head units and sat nav, and have just bought a DAB unit to go with it.

I have now wired up most of the connections for my DAB unit and am about to mount the aerial to the windscreen.

There is a copper strip which seems to go just inside the windscreen pillar, and is supposed to be mounted on a metal part for grounding - but as far as I can tell, the pillar trim seem to be irremovable.

Would this one be better, it doesn't seem to have a ground strip?
