So, i've got a tts at present, 38k 2009. Its alright, but not exactly setting my world on fire.

I sort of fancy something with proper 4wd or even rwd. Something that will return 30 mpg on a run as I drive 50 miles to work each day and would have similar or better power and torque than the tt. I find the TT a bit wide on b roads so has to be as large or ideally less wide. 2 seats preferable, 4 if not. Wouldnt mind a v8 or and engine that sounds fantastic, the tt's engine is a typical vw/audi 4 pot and sounds dull. I appreciate i may not be looking at 30 on a run using a v8.. Has to be reliable and comfortable, dont read comfortable to mean it handles like a pudding though..

What are your suggestions?

He says a TT is too wide for the B roads so that rules out a corvette as he wants something that will handle well. The bmws are not v8 nor will do 30mpg even as 6 cylinders.

Id love megan fox who can cook clean make me look good to my mates and be amazing in the sack but sometimes to get what ticks a few of the boxes you have to settle for the girl next door with the squint.....

I had a jdm impreza gt that fits the bill (other than being a 5 seater). 2.0 twinscroll remapped to 300 horses.

Easy 30 on a run; sounded great with a sports exhaust.

as for the Z 3/4 M - he didn't say IT HAS TO BE A V8 and after running a Z3 M for two years and doing many roadtrips in it, I can tell you that it's easily doable 29-30mpg at motorway speeds. I'm assuming Z4 will be even better being newer and probably 6spd

Yeah its a reet fat lump, 1395 kilos and only 268 brake and around 258 ft lb. Its nippy, but not quick.
