Valid point if you ask me, looks like it would impede vision and possibly hearing too. I think the same when I see people driving with hoods up. Am I a hoodist?

How is hearing a valid point? Do you think burkas effect hearing more than people on motorbikes or in a enzo with straight pipes?

A crash helmet has a much wider viewing aperture than a bhurka.

Fair enough, even the majority of cars with a stereo on.

I do have a habit of turning down the music and opening the window for a listen on junctions which are difficult to see out of.

Still, you don't see a lot of blind people who can hear driving now do you?

There's more risk from a fat guy with chubby cheeks, or glasses with frames.
