Yes he was stupid but this public policing will be the beginning of the end. I imagine the driver of the car doing the filming never ever breaks the law whatsoever.

He could have been the person holding everyone up and perhaps pushing the driver to do something daft?

Sorry - I don't agree at all.

First, if we based our legal system on a 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' principle, then no-one would be charged with anything, ever. Whether or not the driver filming has ever broken the law is completely immaterial - the tool caught on camera is!

Second, even if the filming driver was holding people up, which I doubt (Lorry to his left, cars in front, no massive gaps ahead or behind and appears to be keeping up with the flow of traffic), that still doesn't excuse the aforementioned tool from undertaking - using the hard shoulder to do so - and then dangerously brake-testing because he (very rightly) gets flashed by the filming driver.

Glad the tw@ got a ban, I've had that done to me twice, both times the drivers were driving dangerously immediately ,undertaking etc, prior to the accident.Not sure what they are trying to prove,but both times they didn't like my use of the main beam and horn to signal my feelings that they were knobs. If the following driver isn't on the ball, they'll get their own car smashed up the rear.I love dash cams, they show all the muppets for what they are.

Change "holding everyone up" for "wearing a short skirt" and then have a good long look at yourself.

Exactly, how would the police be able to charge anyone with assault, ABH, GBH...
