Aston V8s at the Nurburgring: Pic of the Week

Three V8 Vantages make for one very special POTW!

It's been quite a successful week for Aston Martin. On top of the three podiums at the N24, the PH V8 Vantage N430 test concluded that it remains a beguiling sports car despite its flaws.

So why not bring the two together for Pic Of The Week? Here we have the #100 car driven by Harris, the #70 car that took P3 in SP8 and the roadgoing N430. They make for quite the trio, particularly on the Nurburgring.

And POTW concludes our Nurburgring fest for the past week or so. Then we're back at Le Mans next weekend for the Classic...

So it seems the Aston V8 is not bad at all. Shame they are having to drop the three pronged star in.

What most people don't realise is that the #100 car is actually a 7 year old N24, chassis number 0007, that was rebuilt at the last moment to replace the N430 racer that was damaged too severely to race. "Kermit" as 0007 was once known has raced in many different guises over the years since 2007, including the first sportshift Vantage, first 4.7 and also as a V12. It's good to see the old warhorse still pounding out the miles and getting trophies.
